Abbott Flat Back Mandolin

An ideal Mandolin for beginner players and those discovering the instrument for the first time.

Based upon a recently discovered Barnes & Mullins 'Abbott' mandolin from the early 20th century, the BM400 is a flat-back mandolin with a natural-finish solid spruce top and okoume back and sides. It delivers a balanced tone with good clarity, while its round sound hole ensures excellent volume and projection.

Piercy F-Style Mandolin

An ornate masterpiece that rewards enthusiatic playing.

The Barnes & Mullins Piercy is a superb F-style mandolin named in recognition of the ''Piercy'' sisters to whom Bowley Barnes and Albert Mullins were married.

The solid spruce top is paired with solid maple back and sides and finished with a vibrant, antique orange stain. The instrument is coated with a high gloss lacquer which reinforces the well balanced tone with just the right amount of high-end chime.
